Who am I?
Nino Rodriguez - painter - mixed media - visual artist. Self taught and school trained artist. Born in Mexico. Raised in the city of Chicago. Educated. Experienced Art teacher.
Can you change products to your specification?
Yes! If there is something specific you want seen in my products or changes to t-shirt colors or designs, yes, I can do that. If you want me to create something specific for you, or a gift, yes. I can do that.
Is it safe to visit my studio?
Yes! My studio is safe and neighborhood safe. The layout is spacious. There are several private bathrooms. A driveway that holds 9 cars, plus plenty of street parking. My studio is a SAFE place for all genders, races and colors.
Where do I get my influence(s)?
I got started painting graffiti art by my brother, he tagged, OOPS, this was in 1984 and I began tagging “TSEL” in 1986. The Aztec or cultural art began sometime in 1990. I get all my influences by reading and learning and visiting places around this world.
Will you keep the art you create?
Yes! All art created by you at my studio or other location belongs to you to keep or give away as a gift. All the art you buy on my site is original, one of a kind and handmade. I do not copy my works of art from othe souces. The art is real!
Do I perform art in live venues?
Yes! You can book me to paint live at your birthday party, event, school, college or theater. You can use the hire me page for this.
Why Am I doing this?
I like art and want to share my creations and talents with you. Art is also therapeutic for me and heals the soul.
Where do you want to be in the future?
Art will always be with me, and art lives beyond the person who creates it, and I want people to have my art years after I am no longer on this rock. I will be painting art until I can no more.
